Products and Orders
2.1 Product Descriptions: We strive to ensure all product descriptions (e.g., lab-grown diamond specifications, GIA/IGI certifications, or metal types) are accurate. However, slight variations (e.g., color due to lighting) may occur. All jewelry is lab-grown unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Pricing: Prices are listed in AUD / HKD (or other currencies as selected) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices exclude shipping costs, which are calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice, except for confirmed orders.
2.3 Order Acceptance: Orders are subject to acceptance. We may refuse or cancel orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. You will be notified and refunded if an order is canceled.
2.4 Customized Products: Customized jewelry (e.g., engraved or made-to-order items) is designed to your specifications and subject to specific terms outlined in Section 4.
Payment
3.1 Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, PayPal and other methods displayed at checkout. You confirm you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
3.2 Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through third-party providers. We do not store payment details beyond what is necessary for processing.
3.3 Currency: Transactions are processed in the currency selected at checkout. International customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by their bank.
Shipping and Delivery
4.1 Shipping: We ship to Australia and select international destinations from our facility in Hong Kong. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are provided at checkout.
4.2 Process time (18-25 days) is the period we take to verify payment, source your lab-grown diamond, craft custom designs, and package your order.
4.3 Delivery Times: Delivery to Australia typically takes 2-7 business days, depending on the courier and customs clearance. Delays may occur during peak periods (e.g., holidays).
4.4 Customs and Duties: International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country. We mark packages appropriately to minimize delays.
4.5 Risk of Loss: Ownership and risk of loss transfer to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by the carrier or customs.
Refund and Return Policy
5.1 Change of Mind Returns:
• You may return non-customized, non-discounted items within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in original condition, and include all packaging, tags, and accessories (e.g., GIA/IGI certificates for lab-grown diamonds).
• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
• To initiate a return, contact us at email: quelitejewels@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions and an address (typically in Hong Kong).
• Use a trackable courier (e.g., Australia Post, DHL) and mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs duties.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 days of receiving and inspecting the item.
5.2 Non-Returnable Items:
• Customized items (e.g., engraved jewelry or made-to-order designs) and discounted items (e.g., sale or clearance products) are non-returnable unless faulty.
5.3 Faulty Items (Australian Consumer Law):
• Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement for items that are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.
• For minor faults (e.g., a loose prong in a ring), we may repair the item within a reasonable time. For major faults (e.g., a cracked lab-grown diamond or misrepresentation of quality), you may choose a refund or replacement.
• Contact us with proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation or receipt) and details of the fault (e.g., photos). We will cover reasonable return shipping costs for confirmed faulty items.
• Faulty item returns are not subject to the 7-day limit or “unused” condition but must include proof of purchase.
5.4 International Returns (Australia to Hong Kong):
• Follow the same process as above. Allow 14–21 days for processing due to international shipping and customs.
• Customers cover return shipping for change-of-mind returns (approximately AUD 20–100, depending on courier). For faulty items, we reimburse reasonable shipping costs upon verification.
5.5 Refund Processing: Refunds exclude original shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. For faulty items, we may refund shipping costs as required by ACL. Contact us if you do not receive your refund within 21 days.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
6.1 Consumer Guarantees: As an Australian customer, you are entitled to consumer guarantees under the ACL, including that goods are of acceptable quality, match their description, and are fit for purpose. These rights apply regardless of our 7-day return policy.
6.2 Faulty Goods: If an item is faulty, contact us promptly to arrange a remedy (refund, repair, or replacement). We comply with ACL requirements and will not use misleading statements like “No Refunds.”
6.3 Proof of Purchase: A receipt, order confirmation, or bank statement is required for ACL claims.
Intellectual Property
7.1 Ownership: All content on the Website (e.g., images, product descriptions, logos, and designs) is owned by or licensed to Quelite Jewels. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our written permission.
7.2 User Content: If you submit reviews, photos, or comments, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce this content for promotional purposes.
Limitation of Liability
8.1 General: To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the Website or purchase of products.
8.2 ACL Exception: Under ACL, our liability for breaches of consumer guarantees is limited to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, or refunding the purchase price, at our discretion, unless the fault is major.
8.3 Product Use: Jewelry should be used as intended (e.g., avoiding damage from improper care). We are not liable for damage caused by misuse.
